how far can we stray from the subject matter is sometimes
tenuous...the
subject of this group though s "hardboiled fiction" which to me
means "noir"
elements in books, films, music, theatre, design, photography,
etc...and
that's what i look for when i joined rara...i grant you there
is always the
old 'delete' button, but a subject matter is a subject
matter...
i belong to a group centered around the music of nick cave and
of course
there are the same type of disgressions when people start
exchanging postings
about bands or topics that are not even remotely connected to
that 'genre' of
music...and, once in a while, somebody will 'bring it back
home' and get it
focussed again...it will occur again, and that's fine...
