Flipping through _Falcon_, I see that chapter eleven ends at
just
about the mid-way point, and it ends on an exciting note when
Spade
tells off Gutman: "Keep that gunsel away from me while you're
making
up your mind. I'll kill him. I don't like him. He makes
me
nervous. I'll kill him the first time he gets in my way. I
won't give
him an even break. I won't give him a chance. I'll kill
him."
So, let's say that by the end of next week, Friday 28
November, we'll
all have finished up to chapter eleven. This should be enough
time
for everyone to finish up whatever they're on now and find
the copy on
their shelves (or - heaven forbid - go buy it). Then, by the
next
Friday, we'll have the book finished.
No giving away spoilers, now, but feel free to post any
initial
thoughts or reminiscences.
