RARA-AVIS: Hear the latest on BRITISH NOIR

Russell James (russell.james@dial.pipex.com)
Mon, 29 Sep 1997 12:29:52 -0700 If you're coming to the Monterey Bouchercon don't miss Saturday
afternoon's panel on BRITISH NOIR. Low-life crime writer Russell James
leads a discussion among writer and critic Maxim Jakubowski, hard-bitten
northern writer Peter Turnbull, controversial East-Ender Denise Danks and
anglicised Californian Hannah Wakefield. We'll touch on the new edge to
Noir, the taboo, and "who's side are we on?". But it's not too late for
you to request a topic of your own. Simply e-mail Russell James at
russell.james@dial.pipex.com

Be there: Saturday November 1st, 3pm, Monterey.
