Sorry I missed the brawl a couple weeks ago between the collectors and
librarians and a few bystanders thrown in for innocent blood. If we had
guns instead of computers bodies would litter the floor.

I've been re-reading my Hemmingway and wondered which of you file-cabinet
minds out there knew of any critical studies on the effect of Hemmingway's
work on hard-boiled writers of the 30's and 40's.
