The answer is yes, I think. I own two Honey West paperbacks (Pyramid
paperback originals), and as neither of them claims to be based on the TV
series, I'm betting the series is based on the books. Also, if the series
is from the 60s, then the books definitely predate the series, with the
first Honey West book (*This Girl For Hire* by G.G. Fickling) having been
published in 1957. (At least I think it's the first: the blurb at the top
of the cover reads "Introducing Honey West") -- Michael
