Dear All,

Thank you for such a great response to my questions on Vachss 
and Connelly and Thompson and Torres.  Someone mentioned that 
AMERICAN TABLOID was the best crime novel ever.

I thought it was very good.  It was a crime novel though, 
like 
the Godfather.  It wasn't hardboiled.  Did you know that it is the 
beginning in a 
new trilogy for Ellroy, similiar to his LA one.  I believe the 
series will end with Nixon's resignation.  What do you think 
will be in the next book?  What do you want to be in the next book?
