I have not followed this conversation fully (re: who is scripting
Destroyer these days), so this may be redundant and already stated.  But,
my understanding is that Will Murray (pulp magazine authority, executor to
the estate of Lester "Doc Savage" Dent, and author of one of the two
recent Mars Attacks novels under the pseudonym Ray W.Murill (a
configuration of the letters in his real name)) wrote several of the
Destroyer novels in recent years.
