    To descend into the trivial, Chandler's friends called him 'Ray' while his wife rather playfully nicknamed him 'Raymio'.  So, was it just his friends who called Hammett 'Dash', I wonder?  And if so, what did people who didn't like him call him -- 'Hyphen'?  Well, I warned you that this was a descent into the trivial.  It won't happen again, I promise.
