On the copyright page of the Vintage Crime reprint of Jim Thompson's _The Alcoholics_, the publisher notes that they are reprinting the Creative Arts Books Company [a.k.a. Black Lizard] edition of 1986, which, they say, differed "slightly" in its "form" from the original Lion PBO of 1953. So, does anybody know exactly what this means? How has the original been tinkered with? Thanks, David
