I don't know of one, but I am sure there is such a list. However, I would like to point out that this is an international list and that we make no artificial separations between writers based on nationality and language. The statement of the list --for the discussion of hardboiled and noir literature-- does not single out or exclude any writer of such fiction.

Sometimes there is the problem that a book in English is published in England and not in the US, or viceversa, so readers on one or the other side may not have had a chance to get it and read it. We were just discussing the paradoxical situation of the No Exit reprints, officially never available in the US... whereas an English hardboiled fan would likely be very familiar with them.

    Best,
