Nice. It's good to see that some people remember Goodis. That he is
barely noticed by the mainstream speaks volumes about how horses are
picked in this country.
By the way, John Updike has died. RIP. It is ironic, perhaps fitting
if such a thing exists, that his death happens just as the world he
spent so much time describing is crumbling. I wonder if the next
generation will not be better represented by Goodis, an ironic twist
of fate, as the bad journalist said.
