    Yes, do that. Anyone who hasn't read these books should do so right now. The noir at some points is so deeply dark that it's hard to take. Joy dave zeltserman advised: Sandra, read Derek Raymond's factory series. It's a series, and it's extremely noir (and maybe also the greatest crime series written). Don't believe me, try the books.
