Just finished Domenic Stansberry's The Ancient Rain, the third in his Dante
Mancuso, North Beach Mystery series (1. Chasing the Dragon, 2. Big Boom).
This one had a truly noir ending. Really kewl.
Stansberry's depth of character is The Real McCoy.
His deep exploration of issues challenges most "literary" fiction as well.
I sure hope he gets an Edgar for one of these like he did for his HCC The
Confession.
