They weren't fathers, but at least two PIs from the old days were married: Thomas B. Dewey's Pete Schofield and Brett Halliday's Michael Shayne (until Hollywood decreed that Phyllis Shayne had to die). And Phyllis died in childbirth, along with the baby, so Shayne came close to being a father. Then, for most of the series, he might as well have been married to Lucy Hamilton.
