Yesterday I caught this by chance on Turner. Anita Ekberg
directed by one Gerd Oswald. Not a masterpiece but far from a
failure. Inspired by the classic Fredric Brown novel.
Recommended to those looking for off the beaten track noir
films. Excellent photography, soundrack and atmosphere; the
script, on the other hand, has all too obvious
weaknesses.
