****************************************************** Would you care to explain this? CRIMES & MISDEMEANOR is comedy about crime in which an elderly man hires a hit man to kill is older mistress. MATCHPOINT is a dark noir in which a young, ambitious man murders his mistress, himself. Outside of men killing women, I don't see any similarity between the two movies. As Allen made them both, the concept of "rip off" seems a tad absurd. What are you talking about?
