Don Johnson aside, I've always enjoyed THE HOT SPOT, based on the Charles Williams book. It's a terrific, compelling film that really seems to capture that moist, noir'ish desperation that's so tangible in William's source work. Jennifer Connelly's topless scene is only icing on the cake.

I thought THE WOMAN CHASER, starring Patrick Warburton and based on the Willeford book of the same name, was pretty good. Stylish, almost oddly so, but mezmerizing and, like the Williams movie, very compelling and filled with noir sensibility.

I'm sure there's many others, but those are the two that leap to mind.
