Interesting. I've never considered Iain Banks as mainly a sci-fi writer. I've always thought his non-genre novels were much better known.

Cheers,

Yes, Blackburn was a good one. Has Denton written other crime novels?

For some reason, I associate Denton's Blackburn with Iain Banks's
Complicity. Must have read them around the same time. Or that they're
both (mainly) sci-fi writers crossing over to crime.
