I can understand why some folks don't like, or got tired of,
the McGee books. I liked almost all of them, but a few are
bad. For his earlier books, I agree with everyone that A KEY
TO THE SUITE is one of the best, and I'll have to check SOFT
TOUCH and A FLASH OF GREEN and read them if I haven't.
JDM was a top-notch craftsman. Some readers don't find art in
the craft, or just don't like the work, but I do. I wonder
how many younger readers his non-McGee books have now, and
how old-fashioned he seems.
