With aplogies for contributing little more than "me too" I
would recommend Give Us a Kiss as well. The Death of Sweet
Mister is a heartbreaker and Woe To Live On is an experience
of its own, but I prefer the action and humor in Give Us a
Kiss
Woodrell started with a detective series, and I have all
three of those on my shelf but have only read the first one.
From comments on the list, I understand that each one of
those is an improvement on the one before, so perhaps I
should get around to the other two.
