I have this dream of David Milch hiring Doris Day to come riding down the Deadwood street in spotless buckskins, opening her mouth to sing "Secret Love," and being blown out of the saddle into a bloody heap in the muck.

But then I thought Lee Van Cleef would have made a more interesting dad in
"Kramer vs. Kramer."
