Brad,
I don't know precisely when he wrote the book, but my
impression was he wrote most of it here. It is based on a
local crime, something I also do, CHASING EIGHTS and
CASSANDRA IN RED are both based on notorious local crimes, in
one of which I personally knew some of the
participants.
