Kent Morgan had bought a paperback by Gary Brandner. You
probably know that he wrote "Howling" (1977). He also wrote -
to keep this on topic - several rather hardboiled short
stories for AHMM in the seventies. I don't know of any crime
novels by him, though, unless one counts a joint Nick Carter
with Robert Colby.
