good bit with Joe Lansdale, who tells me he has seven (count
'em -- seven!) books coming out this year. Four are
collections of older material. New ones that might interest
rara-avians (though they aren't crime stories) are THE KING
(a collection of new short-short stories), FLAMING
LONDON
(sequel to ZEPPELINS WEST), and THE DRIVE IN 3. All of those
will be small press books. Joe says his next crime-related
novel will be LOST ECHOES, a trade pb from Vintage in May of
'06.
