I haven't read any Crews for awhile, but I am lucky enough to
have hardcover firsts of several of the early books. I think
my favorite is The Hawk Is Dying, which is being made into a
movie. I understand it will be released this year. I also
enjoyed A Feast of Snakes and would highly recommend the
non-fiction collection, Blood and Grits, along with A
Childhood. Now that Vicki has mentioned Crews, I have moved
Karate is a Thing of the Spirit to my TBR stack.
