Thanks for asking, Dave. I'm waiting for my agent to sell the
next novel, Cruel Poetry, that's taken me over 3 years to
write. It's kind of a love pentangle, with lots of sex, drugs
and murder. Meanwhile, I've started trying to write
screenplays, but I don't have anything that I can talk about
yet, and maybe not for a long time, although it's great fun
learning to do it. I'm also doing a chapter for a round-robin
erotica novel: Casanova meets O in the 21st century. It's a
British publication edited by Maxim Jacobowski, who
is a noir fan as well as a writer and the owner of
Murder One bookstore in London. I see some writers on the
list like Stella Duffy, who edited and wrote a story for Tart
Noir--you can find out more about her at tartcity.com--and
Lucy Taylor who is a bizarre erotica and noir writer from
Colorado, so this novel should be a kick. Maxim has already
ruled out bestiality though, so I don't know what I'll do!
