It's credited to Woolrich, no doubt. I've seen (for the nth
time) the film approx 3 months ago, and I recall it. I
checked also in two reliable films listings and they both
speak of Cornell Woolrich as well for the base of the script.
As you know, William Irish was a pseudo of Woorich.
"Rear Window" is one of my personal Hitchcock favorites. It
stands the time test.
