read O'Brien. Can you recommend something by him? I went
through reviews at Amazon and if I recall correctly his first
is THE THINGS THEY CARRIED. Many of the reviews said that his
later work was better, and then when I looked at reviews for
his later works, there seemed to be a trend to say his first
was best.
