Let's all read one Ross Macdonald book in January and really
have at it. We can look at the writing, the plot, the
influence, etc., and all be talking about the same thing. I
don't think we've ever had a Ross Macdonald month, and
sticking with one book like when we read THE MALTESE FALCON
will give everyone a common starting point. Sound good?
But, which book? THE GALTON CASE? BLACK MONEY as some were
talking about? THE ZEBRA-STRIPED HEARSE? THE DOOMSTERS? THE
FAR SIDE OF THE DOLLAR? What's the one to choose if we want
to see the best of all aspects of how Macdonald wrote?
