I recently gave Thomas the full treatment, starting with his last, following with his first, and so on, alternating recent and old. As I read or reread each book, the same question kept coming to mind: what sort of day jobs did Thomas hold before he took up writing? His books, particularly in the amount of accurate detail, suggest interesting possibilities... Does anyone know?

Best,
