Ed asked:
"I've read (and enjoyed) Benjamin Schutz in short story
anthologies. Is this new title a PI novel?"
Judging by the brief description, Mongol Reply appears to be
a psychological thriller about a husband using means legal
and otherwise to punish the wife he believes is cheating and
keep the kids. A court appointed psychologist and lawyer get
drawn in.
I must admit that this wouldn't normally sound very appealing
to me. However, based on the past novels I have read by
Schutz, I am looking forward to it.
However, if you're looking for PI novels, I strongly endorse
those earlier books of Schutz's in the Leo Haggerty
series.
