I just flew in from Toronto, and boy are my arms tired. Not
as tired as that joke, however.
Anyway, the Bouchercon was great. Judy and I were even able
to get out of the hotel for a while and have a look at the
city.
The gathering of some of the rare birds at the Duke of Argyle
was a highlight of the convention. Thanks to Bill Denton we
had some good talk, good food, and a few drinks. It was good
to see some rara-avians again and to meet others face-to-face
for the first time.
I had to miss the great noir/hardboiled face-off on Saturday
morning because of another appointment, but I heard from
three people who were able to attend that it was an excellent
discussion and a lot of fun to boot. I wish I could have been
there.
And I see that Juri Nummelin has come back onto the list
during my time in Canada. Welcome back, Juri.
