RARA-AVIS: Writers' Lives

From: Bill Crider ( bcrider@houston.rr.com)

Another writer from the Roger Torry era who had an interesting life is Raoul Whitfield. Walter Satterthwait, whose books some of you may have read, has written a so-far unproduced screenplay based on the death of Whitfield's wife, and he speculates on what role Whitfield might have played. It's really very good, but I guess Hollywood isn't ready for it. Yet.
