Someone recently brought up the DVD extras on Manchurian
Candidate -- Frankenheimer commentary and an interview with
Sinatra, George Axelrod and Frankenheimer. There's a new
"special" edition coming out on Tuesday with all of that,
plus "featurettes" with Angela Lansbury and, don't ask me
why, William Freidkin. I wouldn't be at all surprised if
there's also a preview of the remake. Anyway, it's on sale
this week at Best Buy for $9.99.
