I've been an admirer of Michael Collins's work for at least
10 years, ever since I discovered his first Dan Fortune novel
at a yard sale. As has been said, he's outstanding. Good
stories, complex characters with a lot of meat on them, and a
realistic treatment of social relations. Now I read
everything I can find by him (though I'm terrible at
remembering pen-names).
Best,
MrT
