I love Tim Dorsey! His main character in several novels is
Serge, who is more than a career criminal. He is a
certifiable madman & outlaw. Killer, thief, lunatic, he's
all that, especially when he stops taking his meds -- which
is most of the time. Vulgar and bawdy and disreputable, god,
Serge is downright rephensible. He has zero redeeming
qualities -- except for his love for Old Florida (sorta like
John D. Macdonald's love.)
