While checking out the noir titles published by City Lights,
I ran across their recently reprinting of the translation of
"A Panorama of American Film Noir (1941-1953)" by Raymond
Borde and Etienne Chanmelon. The write-up claims it was the
first book length analysis of film noir. Has anyone read it?
Is it of more than historical interest?
