Didn't Greene's novel come after Greene's screenplay? Or am I
mixing this up with Our Man in Havana?
Speaking of Greene adaptations, The Quiet American, just out
on DVD, is pretty good. Michael Caine gives a very nice
understated performance. It's nice to see him acting again,
after a string of over the top roles.
Did anyone ever make a film of Brighton Rock? Was it any
good? Who played Pinky?
