Ron, the trade paperback should be available next week
($17.95, 240 pages), the hardcover within a month tops
(mid-July possible, and I'm dropping the price to $35.95, 332
pages). If you know a local mystery store, bookstore,
whatever, ask them to stock it. I will offer it directly to
independent bookstores well before it's "officially"
available in mid August, and I will offer it to any Rara-Avis
reader who emails me before it's available in
*any* bookstore.
> The five poems from "Outcast Poems"

> complete "Poontang and Other Poems"
> and many unpublished poems
This totals 79 poems, 7 "schematics" and the intro to
Proletarian Laughter. I've tried to put *everything* into the
poetry section (decoded from handwritten manuscripts), as I
hesitate to guess there will be no other edition of
Willeford's poetry anytime soon (though there are a few I
know still missing). Funny, rude, clever, haunting,
insightful, droll, deep, you name it. "Schematics" are about
the only material CW wrote about his WWII experiences, brief
images of war amidst the poems.
