Yes, it's _The Shooting_. Thank you, guys. I have indelible
memories of seeing this and the companion movie, mentioned by
Dave. I went to see _The Shooting_ with a girlfriend,
thinking that it was probably a potboiler that would allow
plenty of time for smooching and general making out. We were
both mesmerized. I had never seen a western like that. Back
then, I didn't know that it was a noir masterpiece. Back
then, Rara-Avis University was the Rara-Avis Vocational
College, or Correctional Institution, I can't remember
which.
