Rec.Arts.Mystery newsgroup. It's a great place to pick up
some new recipes or grieve over your dead pet. There's also
some book dis- cussion. There appears to be a small group
that's aware of classic harboiled/noir, and there have been
some good dis- cussions of Chandler and Woolrich.
