It is. Actually, after buying the paperback (very
hardthumbed), I found and bought a copy of the hardcover
edition. Alas, they are both packed away. I do recall the
collection as fascinating stuff (Hammett, Daly, Norbert Davis
and other greats). That early Hammett story is very good,
very Hemingway.
