I'm not sure any of Vin Packer's books are hardboiled, but
there are some good ones. WHISPER HIS SIN is, I think, one of
those they bill on eBay as "gay interest," and of course
SPRING FIRE is always hyped as "lesbian interest." I like THE
GIRL ON THE BESTSELLER LIST and some of the J.D. stuff
(THE THRILL KIDS, THE TWISTED ONES). THE DAMNATION OF ADAM
BLESSING is good, too, and there was even a rock band by that
name for a while.
