Ed, I haven't read DALLAS BLUE (Tower Books, 1982), but
here's the blurb from the back cover:
"PSYCHOS, THIEVES AND MURDERS . . . abounded in the streets
of Dallas that were the training ground for Don Green, a
rookie cop. SHOOTINGS, KNIFINGS AND STREET BRAWLS gave him
plenty of opportunity to master the tricks of his trade--and
strained him to his limits, until...POLICE BRUTALITY erupted
from the tension of being up against death, day in and day
out."
Now there's a classic (in more ways than one) blurb. If I had
the writer in an English class, I might talk to him about
that first series. Anyway, now you know as much as I do about
DALLAS BLUE.
