I just got back from the Pelecanos signing/reading/talk at
Murder by the Book in Houston. He did a great job, and he's a
very nice guy. Plenty of good stuff in the Q&A session,
but to pick one interesting thing, he says his screenplay The
Spirits of St. Louis, based on the ABA team, has been
"greenlighted." That doesn't mean it'll get made, but it's
pretty close.
