finished _the skull mantra_ by pattison. i had never heard of
him before but i was just browsing at border's book store and
found it and the cover said it won an edgar so i got
it.
hardboiled? i'm gonna say yes. there is brutal ugly death.
and inspector shan feels fear but never shirks his quest for
the truth, no matter what the consequences.
a very good mystery with an interesting view of tibet.
tibetan noir at its finest. well thought out, intricate, with
good characters. fun.
