I guess I didn't explore my point far enough. Bill hit it.
Public libraries' budget are shrinking and the demands for
them to have other media are increasing. If easily available
cheap paberbacks become things of the past, are we in danger
of making it so only wealthy collectors will be able to
afford to read out of print books that are over a few years
old? In 2020 will a list like this be unable to thrive on the
shared experience of having been able to easily read the more
obscure authors of today? Mark
