You know, private eye has always been one of those unexamined concepts in my mind. I got private eye all mixed up with that loner thing.

However, now that I'm forced to examine it, Jim and Anthony are absolutely correct. It's not private as in alone, but private as opposed to public. Ain't no way I'm going to try to argue the Op was not PI.
