finished martin cruz smith's havana bay. i highly recommend
it. good clean prose, well-drawn characters, and great plot.
i liked it every bit as much as polar star, gorky park, and
rose. cool to see arkady in the beautiful carribean (even if
it is cuba).
i read an interview with him and he's got several new works
in mind.
