I finally got a copy of this first Earl Drake story, and I
was not disappointed. It's a chilling story with a
protagonist I got to believe in. I read One Endless Hour
before Name of the Game, and I think it should be mentioned
that these two first Drakes are closely tied despite the
seven years between them.
I have a question, though: My copy is a Gold Medal from
1972/73 that is tagged a Revised Edition. Is there a great
change from the original 1962 edition?
